The fact that so many pro-lifer Republicans neglect is life doesn’t end at birth. It may begin at conception but it doesn’t end until death. If abortion is murder, then wouldn’t it be logical to assume that a miscarriage because of lack of prenatal medical care be murder too? Murder by the government? 13% of women who become pregnant every year in the United States are uninsured, resulting in severely limited access to prenatal care… Currently, pregnancy is considered a “pre-existing condition,” and that would make it much harder for uninsured pregnant women to actually be able to afford private health insurance.
Beginning in 2014, the dreaded “Obamacare” will prevent insurance companies from discriminating based on “pre-existing conditions.” There are still an estimated 8.9 percent of children under age 18 in the United States without insurance. Let’s be realistic here. Without insurance, children are less likely to receive preventative care. And that can and does lead to death. 17,000 deaths over the past 2 decades due to lack of healthcare.
It’s because all these people care about is what’s in their stupid fairy tale book. It says “Thou shalt not kill”. Nowhere does it says “Thou shalt not leave people to rot and die.” So all is fine. It’s “God’s will”, that all these people are suffering, baby.
